Independent front door access leads to a beautiful original marble staircase which takes you to the first floor apartment, consisting of a lovely light sitting room with dining area, separate kitchen, double bedroom and a shower room/toilet.
Guests have full and private use of an elegant courtyard garden, profusely planted with white climbers, equipped with outside furniture, bar-b-q and sun loungers.
The town of Ste Foy has numerous banks, shops and restaurants, all accessible on foot. The Saturday morning market was voted the best market in France in 2014. Ste Foy is situated directly on the banks of the Dordogne river which is two minutes walk away from the apartment.
Just 20 minutes from the medieval town of Bergerac and its airport; little more than an hour from Bordeaux airport. Accessible by train from Bordeaux direct to Ste Foy station, from where a pick-up could be arranged.
Ste Foy is situated in beautiful open countryside where sunflowers intersperse cereal crops and miles of vineyards. It is fully accessible to some of the biggest and best wine régions in France; St Emilion, Pomerol, Monbazillac being just 3 of the best-known names. The area provides spectacular views of fields, forests and beautiful chateaux so there is a multitude of things to see and do.
