Description

A very comfortable 19th century recently refurbished terraced town cottage, finished to a high standard, with superb views across the estuary towards Scoble Point and South Pool Creek. The views may be enjoyed directly from the lounge across delightful lawned and paved gardens.

LOCATION An ideal town centre location within a short stroll of shops, restaurants, and quays.

VIEWS Superb views across the estuary towards Scoble point and South Pool Creek.

LOUNGE/DINING ROOM A bright and spacious room on the ground floor with superb estuary outlook, two two-seater comfortable sofas, cosy gas log burning stove, television, DVD and video player, large dining table and six chairs to one end of the room. Bifold doors leading out on to balcony and then down to garden. Garden furniture provided.

KITCHEN AREA Fully fitted in a white, 'shaker' style with 4-ring gas hob, electric oven and grill, extractor, freezer, fridge, dishwasher, and Indesit washer/dryer. Solid oak worktop and microwave.

BEDROOMS Two on the lower ground floor; master bedroom with 5' bed and washbasin. Second bedroom with double bed with single 3' bunk over, door to patio/gardens overlooking the estuary; washbasin and shaverpoint. N.B. Duvets and pillows provided. Tenants require bed linen and towels.

BATHROOM Lower ground floor with bath and shower over, hand basin and w.c.

OUTSIDE Balcony with fantastic estuary views with garden furniture leading down to tLandscaped rear patio and lawned garden with occasional furniture. Outside shower (Summer only) and barbeque

OTHER INFORMATION Stripped new floors, doors and furniture. Carpeted throughout bedrooms and largely double-glazed. Gas central heating and hot water.

“Another fantastic stay”

This was our second stay at the property, after staying for a week in June 2015. Two years on, it was exactly how we remember it - perfect! We have a baby (10 months) and a 3.5 year old and it's ideal for a young family. The main things that we love about the cottage are it's location, the garden, the amenities of the cottage (it has everything you need, including a travel cot) and THE VIEW! It is so handy to be in the centre of the town (literally a minute walk to Fore Street) yet you feel as though you're away from it all sitting on the terrace overlooking the harbour. We're already planning our next trip!

Fantastic location with stunning views and garden. The house was extremely cosy and well equipped, with everything we needed. The owner was lovely and helpful. We loved our stay and would love to visit again.

We spent a lovely week in Salcombe. What a beautiful place! The house was in a great location and was very comfortable inside. It had everything a family would need for the week and the balcony at the back was a real bonus, as was the garden! The outdoor shower was very useful after days out at the beach. Our children really loved the house and garden and having a park opposite the house was a very nice surprise. We would highly recommend this house for a relaxed family holiday.
