From the owner

Hillcroft is a lovely spacious 4 bed Victorian mid-terraced house with accommodation spread over three floors. Large bay windows provide lovely views across the village and over the estuary.

Located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, this substantial property is ideally positioned to take advantage of all that Salcombe has to offer, A 5 minute walk will take you to either Fore Street or Island Street which are both bursting with shops, restaurants, art galleries and inns.

It is also just a short walk to the passenger ferry that takes you across the river to the stunning sandy beaches of North and South Sands, Smalls Cove, Mill Bay and Sunny Cove.

You enter Hillcroft into the lobby area that has space to hang your coats and wet suits. This leads through into the open plan dining/lounge area. Recently decorated and lovingly restored, this modern, fresh spacious room is the perfect space to relax after a hard day at the beach! With comfortable sofas and a large farmhouse table there is plenty of space for everyone. Also on this floor is the fully fitted kitchen and back door leading to the rear garden.

On the first floor there is the family bathroom with a bath and shower attachment. This room also houses the tumble dryer. A separate shower room with wc & basin is also on this floor next to the bathroom. Bed 1 is at the front of the house and has a beautiful view over Salcombe. It houses a King Size 5' bed, and has plenty of wardrobe space. Bed 2 looks over the back garden. This houses a bunk bed, the bottom bunk is 4' wide, so can sleep 2 and the top one is 3' wide so can easily accommodate adults if necessary.

Bed 3 and Bed 4 are on the top floor. The front room is a twin room with 2'6” beds, which can be hooked together to create a double. Bed 4 has one single 3' bed.

Why can't I call Patsy (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Patsy (the owner) a message.

If Patsy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
