Casa Aurora is an award winning uniquely renovated, elegant three deluxe bedroom Spanish house.

The traditional house incorporates Moorish design and is set in the beautiful foothills of the Lecrin Valley with wonderful views of the white washed mountain village, church steeple and rustic Campo.

Idyllically located between the majestic Sierra Nevada and the sunny Costa de Tropical, you can ski in the morning and laze on the beach in the afternoon.

The house is ideal for relaxing, sightseeing or exploring. Check out our activities page for more energetic pursuits such as cycling, trekking, climbing or off-roading.

Casa Aurora provides ample room for a large family or group of friends; imagine yourself cooling down in the plunge pool, reading a book in the quiet courtyard or sunbathing on the terrace with views of snow tipped mountains and clear blue skies.

The spacious open plan design allows the living space and kitchen to blend, making it the perfect venue for a social gathering, cooking, tending the wood burning fire place, listening to music or simply watching tv.

The main suite is the height of luxury, its size taking most of the upper floor. French doors open onto a sunny terrace a fantastic venue for early morning coffee. There’s a sumptuous bathroom with twin sinks, toilet, bidet and walk in shower. To top it all a vintage standalone bath ready to relax in after a day at the beach or after hiking one of the regions many trails.

The two ground floor bedrooms are also large in size, both have comfortable double beds and adequate storage facilities. These bedrooms share a beautiful vintage marble bathroom with toilet, wash basin and big walk in shower.

Hi there, we love welcoming new guests to our home. Much of our time is spent researching the treasures of this area, such as restaurants, walks, outdoor pursuits, beaches, local landmarks and culture. It's always exciting to find out a little about our guests and suggest ideas that we think will enhance their stay. Personally we love to explore the local mountains with our dogs, have lazy lunches with local fresh food and soak up some of the late Spanish social life - Granada, we think, is one of the most beautiful and welcoming cities in the World. We are always on the look out for new treasures to decorate our home and indulging our passion to create a simple and beautiful living space.

House rules

The neighborhood is quiet and tranquil apart from scheduled Fiestas, please refrain from loud music and noise after 10pm.

Please shower before using pool as sun cream will clog the filter leaving the water dirty for you and other guests.

“Beautiful house in a beautiful place”

We had a great holiday here. The house is beautifully decorated and a wonderful, cool and peaceful retreat - in a characterful village in a stunning setting. There is lots to do with the beaches only half an hour away and Granada about the same distance (though I recommend booking tickets to the Alhambra several weeks in advance as they sell out!). Carol and Angela were very helpful and accommodating. All in all, a great choice I would say!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Carol (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
