Hiking trails, waterfalls, 2 rivers, fishing nearby. 360 views. Front/back decks. Enjoy deer, elk, fox, hummingbirds,occasional llamas.

Lovely log mountain home located in Arkansas River valley area between Salida and Monarch Ski Resort. 3 BR, 2 Bath with optional bidet! Large wood-burning fireplace (firewood provided!). Open loft with complete entertainment center, including surround sound and satellite Directv service. All wood interior with hardwood floors and log walls. Both bedrooms downstairs are carpeted. Master bedroom upstairs with walk-in closet. Spectacular views in every direction - especially from front & back decks. Home is completely furnished, all amenities provided, including free high speed reliable satellite Internet service, gas grill and firewood! Enjoy hiking and long nature walks right out the back door! See wildlife playing on property as well as nearby ridges. Binoculars provided!

The Arkansas River Valley is known as 'Banana Belt' because of its mild winter climate, while just west up Hwy. 50 (9 miles from Mountain Manor) is Monarch Ski Resort, the second most heavily snowed site in the state of Colorado. Where else can you play a round of golf in the morning in a light sweater, and downhill ski later that afternoon? Follow that up with a hot springs bath and massage, and later dine in a gourmet restaurant in town. All of the luxuries of Aspen, Breckenridge, and Vail at a fraction of the cost, in a place that is home to some of the friendliest and most down-to-earth folks you could ever hope to meet!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Pam (the owner) a message.

If Pam (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
