“Villa il Canto” is situated in a very small group of houses in the Apennines ( about 450 a.s.l.) very close to the “Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi” (a national park) and the village of Castagno d’Andrea birthplace of Andrea del Castagno, one of the protagonists of 15th century Florentine painting. Surrounding the area are the high mountain tops covered with thick woods culminating in the Falterona from where the Arno river is born, ideal therefore for those who love naturalistic excursions but also visiting Florence, better still by train from the station of Dicomano and the towns of the Mugello. The house is made up of 3 buildings, the main villa, an annex and a smaller villa divided into 2 apartments (about 300 meters from the main villa, reachable by car or a 3 minute walk in the grove). At exclusive disposal of the guests, a completely fenced-in garden with salted-water swimming pool (11.50x5.50 depth 1.50m) (01/05-30/09), equipped with outdoor shower, barbecue and wood-fired oven, a Jacuzzi (3x3 - 0.90m deep, 4 seats)(01/05-30/09), spacious veranda with external kitchen and table for outdoor meals. The smaller villa has its own private fenced-in garden with Jacuzzi (2.5x2.5m - 4 seats), barbecue, loggia and patio for outdoor meals. Central heating, wi-fi internet connection in the whole property. Outdoor laundry room (washing machine). Upon request: baby bed. It is possibile to request domestic help, cook and cooking classes. Car park on the property.
