This apartment is very bright and quiet because it is on the third floor of a typical florentine building situated in a central but noiseless street. Only 5 minutes walk from the Accademia (with Michelangelo's David), just 10 minutes to reach the Duomo and only few minutes to get to Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi, Piazza della Signoria and via Tornabuoni. It is also strategic to reach the Fortezza da Basso (Pitti Fair, Artigianato Fair, etc.) and Palazzo dei Congressi.
The area is full of restaurants and cafés. We will be happy to suggest the best ones for quality/price, where you can try the genuine florentine food.
In the same street there is a supermarket (Il Centro), while 5 minutes (at the end of the street) you will find the most famous local market in town (S. Lorenzo).

You can buy everything in this area. There is a bakery's just downstairs. The apartment is in the same street of the main shop which rents bikes in Florence, so you can enjoy the city by bike or go the the Cascine park, near river Arno. You can also find in the same Street (20 meters) a fascinating Austrian café (Rainer) where you can have breakfast or lunch with typical food.
Two minutes walk and you get to the bus stop.
Politeness and respect for the apartment and for the neighbours are required
