Casa Salvia E is located on the first floor of an age-old stone house. You will reach it from the parking area going up a walkway that cuts through the garden and includes approximately 14 stairway steps.

The apartments Casa Salvia A, B, C, D, E and F are part of an ancient farmhouse, which is located on the slope of a gentle hill, in an area of the Tuscan countryside which remains untouched and partly wild.

You will be far away from busy roads, and you will find that the air is clear and perfumed, and will be able to enjoy a peaceful stay. You will be able to look around in any direction, and your sight will span over a wide horizon of hills, which intersect like the waves of a green sea, with plots which are brighter where the land has been sowed and planted with vineyards, and darker where there are small oak woods.

On a nearby hill you will be able to spot the profile of the medieval burg of Montalcino. Montalcino is the village that lends its name to one of the most famous wines of Tuscany and Italy: the “Brunello di Montalcino”. The village is known for its excellent wine makers and the splendid wine cellars open to visitors.

You will be halfway between Montalcino and San Quirico D’Orcia, just a few kilometers south of Siena, in an area which is not crowded by tourists, yet in an good position to visit Siena and the main art cities of Tuscany with short trips.

The farmhouse is surrounded by 2 hectares (5 acres) of land, partly garden and partly vineyard. It is made up of three ancient buildings, made of bricks and stones. The buildings have been built around a nice yard paved with stones.

The owners reside on the premises, in a building close by, and will be kindly and discreetly available for any request or information.

The three buildings on the farmhouse have been restored with loving care, and the characteristics and the charm of once-upon-a-time country houses have been kept untouched both in the outdoor looks and in the indoor decorations. The decoration is rich in items of local handicrafts.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is 7 meters (23 feet) large by 14 meters (46 feet) long, 2.5 meters (8 feet) deep. The area is equipped with a table, chairs, a sun umbrella, deck chairs, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will have a charming view of the valley. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. The swimming pool is open from mid-April until mid-October.

Terrace

The terrace is 50 square meters (540 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella. From the terrace you will enjoy a broad view of the surrounding vineyards and of the greenery. You will share the terrace with the other guests staying at the complex.

Garden

The garden is 22000 square meters (237000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by olive trees. Here you will be able to have fun with a ping pong table. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a charming view of the garden and of the vineyards. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex.

Laundry room

In the laundry room you will find a washing machine at your disposal.  Patio

The patio is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a roof. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy a broad view of the surrounding vineyards and of the greenery.

Living Room

The furnishings of the living room are rural and characteristic of the Tuscan house. The furnishings include two sofas. There is a big and age-old fireplace. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher and an Italian-style coffee-maker. How do damage deposits work?
