Golden Hill is located amidst the picturesque hills of southern Styria, St. Nicholas only 35 kilometres from the provincial capital Graz. The country house "Stone Fox", a converted old farmhouse from the 18th century, their personal retreat for up to six people. Facilities of the 'stone Fox' is a fully equipped country kitchen, three bedrooms with en suite bathroom and WC, a cosy living room, a living room with an open fireplace and a separate reading room, a private spa with 400 sqm garden with Finnish outdoor sauna, outdoor bath, and a relaxation room.

From private dining to Gourmet picnic is catered for culinary highlights. On the day of your arrival you will receive our loving evening gourmet breakfast basket filled with regional delicacies. Early in the morning, every day yet the desired pastry comes handy double. The adjacent experience wine cellar offers place for tastings and events, culinary as well musically. From the large stone terrace, sweeping views to Graz and over the vineyards. The country house "Stone Fox" is also a special place for small meetings and discussions.

By the Golden Hill enjoy the vineyards from various perspectives: on a Harley, on horseback, by bike or silently floating in a hot-air balloon. Three horse-riding facilities are in the immediate vicinity. Seven golf courses are within a radius of 60 km away and invites the Styrian Thermenland bath pleasure in bad weather.

If motorized you arrive, you will find covered parking. Also an arriving by private helicopter is possible – the Golden Hill is a private heliport for you.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Andreas, Karin (the owner) a message.

If Andreas, Karin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
