This terraced cottage is in the town of Sanquhar near to Dumfries and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.The Granary is a lovely terraced cottage situated in the town of Sanquhar just twenty six miles from Dumfries in Dumfries and Galloway. The cottage can sleep four people in one super king-size double and one double together with family bathroom. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is ample off road parking and an enclosed lawned garden with furniture. The Granary is a delightful cottage in a lovely part of Scotland.

Amenities: Electric central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with FreeSat, Blu-ray, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Private enclosed lawned garden with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Note: Due to lambs in the surrounding fields, please ensure dogs are kept on a lead at all times when outside. Note: Uneven farm track last half mile leading to property

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: A former Royal Burgh, the town of Sanquhar sits on the River Nith in Dumfries and Galloway. The name derives from the Gaelic 'Seann Cathair', meaning 'Old Fort' and at the southern end of the town there can still be seen the ancient ruins of the castle. Robert Burns was a frequent visitor to Sanquhar and wrote many of his best known nature poems while inspired by the surrounding countryside. The town today boasts a selection of bars, shops and cafes, a 9 hole golf course, a swimming pool and the A The Airts Arts Centre, which showcases a wide variety of arts and crafts.
