4 bedroom, 2 bath House on huge property 2 minutes to beach and 5 mins to central Dwntn Santa Barbara - Your own Private Park with a zipline, at least 10 tree swings,- 2 mins to the best beach in SB, "Hendry's Beach", 5 mins to Downtown. Tons of trees, birds, wild life, backs up to 27 natural acres of nature. Spectacular nature views, Amazing property in a super close location for all the tourist sight seeing. Secluded, private, gorgeous.

Property is unique for nature lovers. Lots of sports equipment, balls and games to play on the huge lawn. Zipline, tree swings, tarzan rope, cross fit rope, tetherball, gymnastic rings and toddler swings There is a big picnic table in the oak grove to relax and enjoy the arboretum.

Minimum stays varies -- Fill in days are fine for 1 night, mid week so inquire.

Great property for Kids, Dogs, and kids at heart.

The house full kitchen comes with all appliances, dishwasher, dry goods and gadgets, pans, plates, etc. to cook! The beds are extra comfy and lots of extra linens and towels, and beach towels for ultra comfort during your stay. HD TV's with DVD's, (TV in every bedroom, and in the living room), high speed internet, Cable TV, game cube. Lots of toys and games in the living room for family fun and younger children.

The large deck has a Gas Grill, propane provided, dining table and sitting area to enjoy the beautiful views, and watch the kids having fun in the park!

This is an artist's house with original French impressionist oil paintings throughout. The scenes in the paintings are landscapes from around Santa Barbara county.

The location is 2 minutes by car to Hendry's Beach/Arroyo Burro Beach, 5 mins by car to downtown - $7 Uber, and 10 mins to SB Airport. It is by an amazing expansive sandy beach, Hendry's, framed by beautiful cliffs. A Dog beach is on the left side, Boathouse restaurant and miles of beach to walk on the right. 5 mins to downtown State Street, the Pier & Harbor. Douglas Dog park is 5 mins away.

The house is extremely private in a very rural area, which is unusual since it's close to the beach and downtown. The house is built into a hill so it's naturally quiet. For pets the lawn is mainly fenced, but so large, please supervise your pets. The deck has secure gates to contain your dog for your stay so your dog can go in and out of the house but is contained so they can't wander into the park which is so huge and not all 100% fenced. This rental is above the yard and overlooks it for a breathtaking view. There is a flagstone staircase to take you on a garden walk and also another wooden stairway on the other side of the property leading you into the yard and gardens, and Oak grove.

Upon arrival, you will see a Butterfly - Hummingbird Garden with special plants to sustain the life cycle of the endangered Monarch Butterfly. Caterpillars, and Chrysalis and flying Monarch's abound.

The specimen trees are amazing! Pick fruit for you stay: apples, plums, avocados, oranges, lemons, peaches, loquats. Enjoy and cut roses during your stay, 33 roses bushes!

LAYOUT: 4 bedrooms -- Main area has kitchen, dining, living room, 1 full bathroom, 1 bedroom with a king bed (rollaway twin size in closet - and two futons in closet to put in common areas), 2nd bedroom has Queen Bed.

For Bedroom 3 and 4 there is a separate suite: Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and futon and rollaway, Bedroom 4 - Queen Bed, futon, and rollaway. The suite has a 1/2 fridge, microwave, coffee maker, pullout table. HDTV's, etc.

For stays of 1 week: free housekeeper and laundry service.

There is a manager's unit onsite, and the manager sometimes stays there if not traveling.

PLEASE NOTE:

Maximum occupancy for unit --- 12 people. NO PARTIES, NO WEDDINGS OR EVENTS, NO PARTY RENTALS ALLOWED -- ONLY THE PEOPLE STAYING - if you'd like a few extra visitors, you much get written permission AHEAD OF TIME, a few are OK, BUT DO NOT BOOK FOR EVENTS... The property is in a lovely upscale residential community with wonderful quiet neighbors on a rural road. Countywide ordinance: no outdoor music or loud volume after 10 pm, so bring the fun inside the house!

No students with wild parties. This is a special property for peaceful stays for romance, families, kids, puppies, reunions, but absolutely not a 'party' house.

Use of tree swings, ropes, hammock, zip line, all at your own risk, so parents tell your kids to be careful, and please supervise! It's a lot of fun for all, but be careful!

Property is not childproofed inside or out. If you have a crawler, or toddler, please be advised that this property is not set up for the safety features necessary for young children. All electric is like a normal house, there is a fireplace not secured for kids, the deck outside was built before child safety codes, so openings in the fencing is larger than 4 inches apart.
