If you are looking for peaceful, private and comfortable place to stay, surrounded by forest and bird songs, this is for you!

We offer a brand new nature cabin that will make your experience in Monteverde unforgettable. Located on a 2 acre property surrounded by forest, beautiful views, and a small creek behind the cabin.

You’ll have many wild visitors that come say hi by the windows singing and dancing among the branches like birds (toucans, bellbirds, among many other species) agoutis, and monkeys (howler and white faced capuchin species) that get very close sometimes.

This beautiful place is owned by Elberth and Alexander Fuentes, two brothers who are locals - native to the nearby town of San Luis de Monteverde. They each have more than 15 years of extensive experience as naturalist guides. Their warm hospitality and charisma make you feel this peace of heaven like it’s your own home; they are always happy to offer advice and arrange tours and activities if needed. They both live within minutes of the cabin, which allows visitors to have the whole place to themselves, but also have the help of their host nearby at any time if required.

Las Marias Cabin is completely furnished with major kitchen appliances and hot water. Free WiFi is included. Studio style with one double bed, one full bathroom, and a beautiful deck to enjoy the sorrounding nature. The wide windows will allow you to witness a clear sky full of stars in the dry season and the water carried by clouds in the rainy season, both magical expressions of the green mountains. The surrounding green garden is full of Marias trees among many other plants. This makes it a great place for walking, climbing trees, playing with the family, picking guava fruits or just sitting under a tree.   The cabin is hidden in a small neighborhood and is very accessible to the town of Santa Elena de Monteverde. Less than 10 minutes driving; taxis charge between $5 and $7 USD. Walking distance is about 25 -30 minutes – a good exercise on quiet dirt roads. Please ask for driving instructions.

How do damage deposits work?

If Elberth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
