Description

The apartment is situated in Sao Bernardino and only a 10 mins walk from a beautiful sandy bay. A 10 minute drive brings you to the centre of Peniche and the world famous surf spot, Supertubos. There are numerous other breathtaking beaches and excellent places for water sports within a short drive.

The accommodation offers 180 degree panoramic sea views from the large terracotta tiled roof terrace.

The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob, electric oven/grill, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and all the cookware and utensils you will need during your stay. There is a breakfast bar and seating for four. All surfaces are beautiful black granite.

The lounge has a large L-shaped sofa, comfy chair and a coffee table. There is a TV, DVD, I-Pod docking station and CD player plus wireless broadband connection for all of your entertainment needs. We can provide a selection of films, board games and books for those who fancy a bit of relaxation.

Rincon has 2 bedrooms, both are well sized. The main bedroom contains a double bed, wardrobe, bed side cabinets, bedside lights, rugs and a roller blind on the window. Bedroom 2 has two single beds, large chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and lights. We provide all the linen, bedding and towels you require during your stay. Cots and high chairs, extra duvets, pillows etc, are all available upon request.

Other amenities include a swimming pool, Jacuzzi/spa. Numerous sunloungers and real wood outside dining furniture near each of the complex's three BBQ areas (one on the roof terrace, one in the courtyard and one near the pool. The central courtyard with its mature garden is a very pleasant place to escape the midday sun and relax with a good book. Our site is surrounded by a secure perimeter wall and gates making it extremely private and safe for families with children.

Our swimming pool is shared between three apartments only. The beautiful large central courtyard is a wonderful place to relax, next to this you will find a small gym room. Please be aware that the swimming is not cordoned off from the rest of the property therefore parents are asked to be responsible for watching over young ones.

Cots, high chairs and car seat are available on request - free of charge.

We also provide surf lessons and equipment hire at excellent rates, as well as arranging discounted golf for our guests.

Getting around

A bus service runs from our village into Peniche and Lourinha, it stops a few hundred yards from the apartments. We can also arrange bicycles and surf equipment hire or lessons for our guests.

House rules

We try to be very relaxed with our rules. We ask that guests always respect the other people on site and show common sense when enjoying the pool and Jacuzzi. We expect guests to leave common areas ( BBQ's, eating and seating ares, sun loungers etc) as they found them, so that others guests can also relax and enjoy them.
Smoking is allowed but not in the apartments.

“Excellent Holiday”

Appartment was comfortable, a good size and with all the amenities you could need, pool area was lovely, there's plenty of room on the complex to either have your own space or mingle with other guests. The proprietors, Niki & Cei, were really friendly and helpful .... and Niki's burgers are a must ! The apartments are a short drive away from the centre of Peniche. There's loads of great surf and beautiful beaches in and around Peniche, and there are some lovely places of interest near Peniche ...... Obidos, Alcobaca, Sintra, Lisbon ..... all in all it's a great all round holiday.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
