Renovated and upgraded in 2021, Coastal Trail Cottage. Sleeps 4. Fully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, kitchen, living areas with dining room.. Large garden with direct access to cliff top and the ocean coast.

15 minutes from Ponta Delgada, Ribeira Grande and Batalha Golf Club.

The cottage is situated in a desirable area of Sao Vicente Ferreira on cliff top overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and only a couple of minutes from the natural swimming pools of Capelas.

There is easy access to all the great attractions of Sao Miguel Island by car, bus or taxi.

The cottage walls are local basalt stone, traditional rustic appeal. The ceilings are the original wood. The garden is enclosed by stone walls.

Lounge - 2 Leather Sofas, TV with local channels, Internet/Fiber Wifi.

Dining Area - Table and seating with space to work online

Kitchen - Fully equipped. fridge, stove/oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, tea kettle, toaster, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, electric fan heaters, mop and pail., wash machine and clothes dryer

Bedroom 1 - double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

Bedroom 2 - Sleeps 2, 2 single beds

Family bathroom - shower, sink, toilet, bidet.

Garden - large garden with rear access to the cliffs and sea, Picnic table overlooking the sea. Patio with garden table and chairs, loungers to relax in the sun, firepit and wood BBQ area. Request in advance for firewood .

Parking is always available on the quiet road outside the cottage.

Please note that the final cleaning of 95 euros has not been included the the quote and can be paid in cash at the door at checkin.

As new managers since January 2020, we have made major improvements to this property. window added to the kitchen new windows and doors including the property gate to the ocean. new and more lighting throughout the cottage upgraded and renovated all bedding and curtains upgraded the bathroom mirrors and cabinets New garden furniture major garden upgrade As for dogs parking in the village, we have been there in the evenings to meet guests and not found dogs barking in the nearby area. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Ed and Bonita (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ed and Bonita (the owner) a message.

If Ed and Bonita (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
