Old Town Bascarsija is the center of events throughout the whole year and the best opportunity for tourists or business travelers to experience sights without losing time on public transport.

The apartment is conveniently placed where the East meets the West, so if you want to feel the true spirit of Sarajevo, this is a place to stay. (30m from Cathedral and 100m from Bascarsija)

The unique feature about the location of Apartment is that it is in the center of events yet has its privacy, safety and peace from the noisy streets of the capital city due to the private entrance to the garden and building where the apartment is located.

Rental price of this unique property also includes free WiFi (strong signal), cable TV, heating system, essentials (hairdryer, fresh towels and sheets, shampoo, soap, slippers, toilet paper, iron, ironing board and rack for drying), necessary kitchen wear, toilet and free private parking space on premises.

Natural and legal persons that provide accommodation services to tourists are obliged to report any stay of an tourist to the competent organizational unit of the Service within 24 hours after providing accommodation. Upon arrival to Bosnia and Herzegovina tourists are required to register and pay tourist tax to tourist board so they could after fulfillment of legal obligations gain certain rights, and accordingly avoid the statutory sanctions for non-compliance with the legislation in force in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.This is regulated by the Law on Movement and Stay of Aliens and Asylum.

Any hosts that do not register their guests are not respecting the Law and guests may face problems on land and airport borders when leaving the country resulting in paying a penalty for non fulfillment of legal obligations.

According to the Tourist Tax Law the tax fee is :

-Children under 12 years old are not obligated to pay tax

-Adults tax fee is 1 Eur or 2 KM/person/day

Note: I offer as host to register my guests and finish all the legal procedures. Guests obligation is upon arrival to hand in the copy of passport or ID with which they entered Bosnia and Herzegovina for registration and to pay the tourist tax to the host depending on the number of days planning to spend in the apartment ( tax fees indicated above and is NOT included in the rental price).
