The Siesta Studio is a private entrance unit that is attached to my home. A comfy queen Serta Plush bed, master bath, large walk in closet with hangers, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, K-Cup coffee station, kitchenette, beach gear for our guests, private patio area with gas grill & outdoor dining to enjoy while basking in the Florida sun. Designated parking for one vehicle. Business travelers & couples on vacation are our clientele at the Siesta Studio!

BUSINESS TRAVEL is our specialty at the Siesta Studio!  Located next door to Sarasota International Airport!  As a business professional myself, I understand the needs of the business traveler!  The Siesta Studio is private unit attached to my home, a home away from home for you in a well kept neighborhood close to everything Sarasota has to offer.

 24/7 digital keyed access and great outdoor lighting so you can arrive around your schedule.  Instant booking for Airbnb business and verified travelers.  

Private and secure WiFi used only by our Airbnb guests.  Feel secure and confident doing business remotely.

WE WANT TO KEEP YOU COOL & COMFORTABLE

The central air conditioner for the entire home is running at 75 degrees! Most of our guests find the central unit for the house running at 75 degrees and the ceiling fan in the studio to be enough for them and feel very comfortable.

The window a/c unit is graciously provided for our guests additional comfort. We have placed the window A/C unit across from the bed at the request of our guests who like it a little cooler when they sleep. Our a/c man advised us that the window unit runs at the standard decibels that most windows a/c units run at and the compressor will kick on occasionally when in continued use as that is how a/c units operate.

We also provide an electric Mantled Fireplace with ambient faux flames on those rare Florida cool nights. The fireplace also runs the faux flames without heat for your enjoyment.

Please be sure to turn off the window a/c unit and fireplace whenever you are not occupying the studio as the studio is already being cooled by the central a/c unit.

YOUR SIESTA COMFORT MATTERS TO US!

The Siesta Studio’s mattress was purchased September 2017 and is a Serta Plush CertiPUR-US certified. Many people describe a plush mattress as slipping into a luxuriously comfortable bed. The reason is simple. The Serta Plush mattress cushions and cradles pressure points creating a softer sensation and less stress on the joints. In other words, they cushion your body while you sleep, with the perfect amount of give, for a comfortable night’s sleep. 90% of our guests tell us that the Serta Plush is so very comfortable and absolutely love it! We have had three couples call us after getting home to find out what type of mattress we have so they could go buy one for themselves

The Serta Plush is well suited for people who sleep on their sides and/or suffer from pressure point discomfort while sleeping. Also, anyone with arm, head, and/or neck conditions will find the Serta Plush mattress very comfortable.

Back sleepers also prefer the Serta Plush mattress. Though back sleepers with back problems may require a firmer mattress to provide the support their back condition requires in order to maintain proper spinal alignment.

Stomach sleepers, however, rarely prefer the Serta Plush mattress. Firm mattresses are a better choice for stomach sleepers, overweight individuals, and those with chronic back conditions.

The Siesta Studio is attached to my home therefore I will be close by. However, I am a busy working professional and will not be able to provide any experience services. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or needs before or during your stay as I am happy help! House Rules are provided upon your arrival and posted in the unit, please be respectful of our established rules. We ask that you keep the studio clean so that additional cleaning fees are not charged. Please see the Studio's Guest Guidebook for your cleaning check requirements in Studio's Welcome station upon entering the studio. No smoking is permitted in the Studio.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Leah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
