THIS IS OUR HOUSE IN TUSCANY AND WE HAVE NEVER RENTED IT IN THE PAST - IT IS OUR GREAT LOVE.
WE NEED TO DISCUSS THE HOUSE WITH POTENTIAL RENTERS BEFORE RENTING - IT IS 6km FROM A GREAT TOWN BUT IS A FARMHOUSE, NOT A LUXURY VILLA. SO LET'S TALK!
Sasso Corvo is a typical Tuscan farmhouse located in the Val d’Orcia, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Once this was a home for people and animals, with stalls for cattle and horses downstairs and a family area upstairs. What are now our guest rooms were once pig-sheds! The house is solidly built with thick walls that keep it cool in Summer and warm in Winter.

The house faces Monte Amiata, a dormant volcano that is on the same fault as Mount Etna, Mount Vesuvius and Stromboli: all of these have earned their fame by erupting in recent times. Amiata has been dormant 60,000 years.
