Nestled in the hills of Maremma and not far from Tyrrhenian sea, lies the charming villa Il Casale.

Completely immersed in nature with a unique panoramic views.

This traditional old stone villa has been beautifully renovated; giving guests the chance to experience Tuscany in all its rustic beauty, in the height of comfort.

The ground floor is open plan with two living rooms, dining room, breakfast area and well equipped kitchen. There are stone walls, oak beams and antique tiles.

In the garden there is a private pool, barbecue area and pergola.

The Villa is located within the organic farm Fontenuova, a short distance from the hill top town of Saturnia and its famous thermal springs.

Positioned on the side of a hill, the farmhouse has a terraced garden and a swimming pool with a lawn. There are far-reaching views across the surrounding countryside from the house and garden.

A stone path leads from the parking area across the garden to the portico where you enter the house on the west side. There is a barbecue with rustic table and benches in the garden, plus a vegetable patch. There is also a laundry area.

At the front of the house on the east side, there is an outdoor dining area that can be converted into a conservatory, enabling you to enjoy the panoramic views all year round. The open plan interior of the living room is characterized by stone-walls and a high ceiling with oak beams. There are two living rooms, a dining room, a breakfast room, and a kitchen. There are open fire-places in both the main living room and the dining room.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Bruno (the owner) a message.

If Bruno (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
