A modern kitchen equipped with oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher and clothes washing machine and dyer. A small breakfast table has seating for 2 with views across the rooftops towards the château. Kitchen towels, oven gloves and dish washer tablets are included.
DINING ROOM:
The double aspect dining room, crowned by a crystal chandelier with views over the Saturday market, the Church Saint Pierre and other historic views of the town, (including a glimpse of the château).
The large oak table has seating for 6. A well furnished dresser contains all you will need to wine and dine in style.
LIVING ROOM:
The comfortable living room has seating for 4 with a 2 seater canapé and 2 arm chairs. LCD television with local digital channels, HIFI DVD, CD player with Bluetooth connectivity. USB charging station.
WORK SPACE:
The lounge has an office desk, unlimited ASDL broadband, WIFI, plugs and USB charging station.
BEDROOM:
The spacious double room has a king-size bed (160 x 200 cm). Bed linen is provided. A cot and linen can be provided if requested when booking.
BATHROOM:
The spacious bathroom with 'mood lighting' comprises:
Bath with shower over, bidet, WC and basin.
Bath and hand towel are included.
Situated in the centre of Saumur access to public transport, trains and buses are only a short walk away. The major car rental companies have a presence in Saumur.
PARKING:
Free on-street parking is available close to the apartment. Covered secure public parking is available just across from the apartment charged at 0.10cts per hour 19H00-09H00. Please ask for more information.
Guests have access to the entire apartment. All services are included with the exception of the central heating for which there is an additional charge for stays longer than one week from October to March.
We ask for a £150.00 refundable damages deposit to be paid with the rental balance.

Spacious, comfortable, well appointed and central apartment

We very much liked this one bed apartment because it was furnished for more than two - nice to have a bit of space and a choice of comfy chair. The kitchen had a great range of cookware and all the alliances we needed, the dining room a fine selection of wine glasses and dining plates. Add to this that the market starts just across the street so wonderful fresh ingredients are easy to find and we were very happy eating in most meals. With its central location, eating out when we did was also tempting and a pleasure, everywhere accessible on foot. Free parking was sometimes available nearby, always available a short walk away but we also used the underground car park opposite (just €2.80 overnight from 6pm to 11am). The flat also has a DVD player and decent screen so we watched a few of our videos. Places to visit in and around Saumur are too many to mention, and there are good way marked walks in many locations when chateau'ed out. All in all a fabulous base for an energetic or relaxed time.
