Saunton Vacation cottage rental with beach/lake nearby, internet access, balcony/terrace and golf

Surf has three bedrooms - two triple rooms (each with one king and one single bed) and a twin room. One of the triple rooms has an en-suite bathroom. There are two other main bathrooms, one with a shower and one with both a shower and bath. Surf has recently had all of its bathrooms modernised and refurbished.

We can also offer an extra twin room in the cabin in the grounds for an additional cost - please enquire for further details.

The Garden Hut which is adjacent to the house may also be hired. It has 2 beds and shares facilities with the house. Ideal for a large family gathering.

One bedroom has a king sized bed and a single and direct access to the sun deck. A second bedroom has a king-sized bed and a single with an en-suite lavatory and basin. The third bedroom has twin beds.
There are two bathrooms, one with bath, shower and WC, the other with bath and separate WC. A mural attributed to a Royal Academician fills one wall.There is a modern kitchen
There is a spacious dining room and a large sun room which both open onto the sun deck via patio doors. Telephone for incoming calls and chargecards.

The glass-surrounded sun deck has magnificent views across the golf course and sandhills to the sea and Hartland Point. A large table, sun loungers and deck chairs are provided and there is a built-in BBQ area and BBQ in the upper area of the garden.

Steps lead from the deck to a small, largely enclosed garden, and a path leads down through Surf's private grounds (of about half an acre) to a gate opening onto the sandhills and giving access to the beach, golf course and coast path.
Surfing equipment hire and tuition is available at the beach.
Bicycle hire is available at Braunton (2 miles) for the quiet lanes nearby which are lined with wildflower blossoms in the spring and summer. The Tarka Trail provides traffic-free cycling for more than 20 miles to Barnstaple, Instow and Torrington. The village chapel is a short walk away. From there two lovely footpaths take different routes over Saunton Down.
Surf has ample safe parking.
