One of 3 gites available at Gites du Marigné, La Petite Maison is a haven for couples, charming, comfortable accommodation decorated in a vintage style. A further 3 bedroomed gite, Chez Hiboux and 2 bedroom gite, Chez Tournesol are also on site and can be booked individually or together. The cottage is tucked away in over 2 acres of grounds, with views of the pool area. It has all you will need for your holiday from the traditional French kitchenette to the cosy log burner, comfortable bedroom and en-suite shower room. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave and dishwasher. The living area has TV, DVD player and a selection of films and books. WIFI is available. All linens and towels are provided as well as a welcome hamper.The private, decked garden and barbeque area at the front of the cottage is perfect for eating outside or simply watching the sun go down. Guests have access to the large, heated pool and play area. We also have a petanque pitch and a variety of outdoor play equipment at your disposal.

A complimentary barrow of wood is provided from November to April.

We keep organically fed chickens in our fruit orchard and delicious fresh eggs are available.

We are a 5 minute drive away from local shops and the town of Civray which has markets twice a week, great boulangerie and charcuterie. The area is excellent for cycling and canoeing. Bike hire can be arranged on site, please ask us for details. Well behaved dogs are welcome at a small charge.

How do damage deposits work?
