COVID-19 NOTICE

In light of COVID-19, we are now taking 2 night stays minimum to the extra cleaning between stays required. Please respond truthfully to the following questions regarding you and any guests joining you:

- Do you have a fever and/or cough or difficulty breathing?

- Have you travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days?

- Have you been in contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19?

- Have you been in close contact with someone who has an acute respiratory condition?

Note that answering yes to one of these questions does not mean we will will automatically decline the booking, instead answering truthfully will allow us the conversation of how best to accommodate you.

Understand that during your stay with us, we will be keeping ourselves completely separate from you .. don't take it personally .. and once your enter the Suite, we will only re-enter once you have left. We will also be leaving you a disinfectant product and asking you to clean down surfaces including commonly touched items. We will also ask you strip the bedding and pillow cases and put those items in a large bag.

Enjoy our trails, biking, being close to nature and much more. Located about 50 min. from Toronto, 25 min. to Canada's Wonderland.

Located almost in the middle of no where and yet just 10 min. from Hwy 400, our space lets you get away from it all while still close to all you need.

The space is an open concept suite attached to our home but with its own separate entrance. It includes full kitchen facilities, one incredibly comfy Eurotop King Bed with great views over the picturesque Holland Marsh. The kitchen features smaller versions of full size appliances, perfectly sized to the suite and two guests. It includes fridge with freezer compartment, speed oven (convection and microwave), induction cooktop, dishwasher, large sink, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, and bar sink plus pots, pans and most everything you'll need for cooking.

The washroom feature a grand 40" full height shower with rain head, elegant Toto toilet, a beautifully hand made vanity and full laundry facilities with its built-in washer / dryer combo unit.

Entertainment now includes a huge 55" 4K Samsung Smart TV with free access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and AppleTV+, Spotify, internet and over-the-air broadcast TV while featuring Apple TV (AirPlay) / iOS and Android casting plus our own TV and video library via PLEX.

In keeping with our property's "green" ethos and giving it some rustic chic, we are featuring our own barn board (taken from our barn renovation project from a few years ago) and reclaimed wood paneling acquired from a home being demolished. The barn board feature wall, bathroom door and vanity are all made from the barn board from this property.

The space includes a patio area featuring your own BBQ and outdoor dining table and zero gravity loungers. Picnic tables are also available.

This space is separated from our home by a two locked door system that gives you the privacy you're looking for in this fabulous country setting.

While primarily designed a space for singles or couples, we can provide an air mattress allowing for children or additional adults.

We do allow pets on a selective basis. There is additional pet cleaning fee of $40. If you interested in bringing a pet, please note this in your inquiry message.

Note that the space is not by a lake or river and does not have a pool or other area to swim.

As a rural property, we have lots of outdoor space. You have access to a fire pit (wood included), walking trails through our 40 acre tree bush lot, and picnic tables. The quiet traffic area is perfect for biking with most roads paved. During the winter, enjoy skiing, snowshoeing and more. In the room, enjoy a 40" Smart TV featuring YouTube and Netflix access connected in room enhanced sound and wireless internet access.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Thom (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Thom (the owner) a message.

If Thom (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
