This bright and airy traditional cottage is located in idyllic surroundings 1km from the beautiful village of Schull. Kitchen/Dining living area, Sun Room, Master Bedroom with full Bathroom, Twin Bedroom and Bathroom. Free WIFI available.

The village of Schull runs the length of main street with a remarkable selection of shops and services with plenty of local art and crafts to take home as a reminder. Mount Gabriel shelters the village from the north, well worth the 1339 ft climb to the top for the wonderful views across the harbour, Roaring Water Bay and Carbery's hundred isles. Bicycles can be hired for a closer look at the sights along our empty roads, at as lower pace there are plenty of walks, or golf for those who enjoy walking with a purpose. There are tennis courts, squash courts, the only planetarium in Ireland and pony trekking. The ferry to Cape Clear, boat trips, fresh and salt water angling and sailing are available for water lovers. The Mizen Head Signal Fog Station guarantees a unique and authentic experience in any weather.

Then there is, of course, the opportunity to sample the excellent local produce from both sea and farm in the fine selection of pubs and restaurants.
