The View in Scotts Head is a contemporary lux beach house with ocean frontage. Elevated views draw breathtaking responses from our guests. Mists rise from mountains in the distance. Migrating whales are in full view from the house. Stroll to very private beaches with no roads to cross. Wake up to views of beach and surf. Relax on north facing decks protected from afternoon breezes. Rest on sun lounges bathed in warm sunlight. Find gentle shade under scented pines.

The best thing is to inquire with details about your guests before booking. And we will offer the most attractive rates whether you are one couple or a large family.

The view has a fully equipped kitchen for those wishing to cook up a storm. Alternatively enjoy meals on the gas hooded BBQ with al fresco dining. The fresh fish available from the local catch are an easy quick meal. Most provisions are available in the village.

Furnished with a relaxed coastal style, this is an unfussy lux beach house where the pleasures have been thought about. The aircon is rarely on in this superb micro climate but welcome when you need it. All rooms have fans. Whatever the breezes, the wind protected decks make relaxing outside a pleasurable experience.

Two HD TV’s and DVD players in bedrooms. Full HD screen in the living area plus Foxtel and fast free WIFI internet. Quality lounges to sit and read, games, holiday reading and DVDs, there is ample “off beach” entertainment.

Plenty of places to sit and read. Sunlounges, Deck and beach chairs to laze in the sun, watch the surf, the sea, the mountains, the horizon, No need to go anywhere for whale watching … you can see it all from The View in Scotts Head.

The housekeeper is local and the caretaker lives on the hill a few streets back overlooking the house. Both are on hand to assist.

Why can't I call Alexandra (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Alexandra (the owner) a message.

If Alexandra (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
