Our resort is located in a amphitheatric location overlooking the beach of Plakias. Once you visit our resort you will be thrilled. The view is breathtaking. The neighborhood is very quiet and the natural landscape is unique. In the area you will find all the necessary as well as supermarket, restaurants, café and pharmacies. For your trips you can use a taxi or rent a car. However, there is a daily bus service from Plakias to Rethymno town. In the area there are several sights such as Preveli Monastery, Preveli Beach, Plakias Beach, Skinaria Beach, Kotsifos Gorge, Kourtaliotiko Gorge and Frangokastello fortress. We created this resort with love to show our guests what Greek hospitality means and to make them feel like home while enjoying the unique view of the natural landscape.

Sellia Resort is a family-run business located in Sellia,Plakias with a breathtaking view of the blue-flagged beach of Plakias.

Our resort provides air-conditioned 2-bedroom residences with a bathroom and a kitchen-living room.

Each bedroom has spacious wardrobes, a small mirror furniture and a premium quality mattress to keep our guests relaxed.There is also a 32-inch flat-screen satellite TV and 1 small private balcony.

The kitchen is fully equipped and quite spacious.There are a stove, oven, large fridge with freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker and any other utensils you use in your home.

In the same area there is a large wooden table that can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people

The lounge has a sofa and a 50-inch satellite TV so you can enjoy movies, listen to music, and browse on web.

Each apartment has a huge terrace with a large table where you can have breakfast with a unique view to the natural landscape.

In each house, there is space for a washing machine, spreader, iron and ironing board.

The neighborhood is very quiet while there are several olive groves in the surrounding area. Near our facilities you will find supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and pharmacies. Another advantage of our properties is the location, as it is very close to all the sights and the most beautiful beaches in the area.

Although there is a bus and taxi transfer from Plakias, we recommend our guests renting a car so they can explore the area better.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Ioannis (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
