This semi-detached, character cottage is situated on the outskirts of the village of Selside near Kendal in the Lake District and can sleep four people with two bedrooms.Longwell House is a semi-detached, character cottage is situated on the outskirts of the village of Selside near Kendal in the Lake District. The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms, a super king-size double which is zip/link and can be twin on request with en-suite bathroom and a king-size double en-suite shower room. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen with dining area and an electric stove and a sitting room with woodburning stove. To the outside is ample off road parking and a front enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture. Set in a stunning location, Longwell House is an ideal place for a wonderful holiday at any time of the year.

Amenities: Oil central heating with electric stove and woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, 3 x TVs with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Ample off road parking. Front enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 4 miles. Note: Working farm location.

Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Town: Situated 6 miles north of the nearby market town of Kendal, Selside is an area in the rolling foothillsof the Shap fells with its own church and village hall. Used as a holiday base, Selside is within easy driving distance to the breathtaking Lake District via Windermere for the South Lakes or Penrith for the North Lakes. The Western Yorkshire Dales are also just a short, lovely drive away via the town of Sedburgh. The nearby town of Kendal (sometimes known as the Gateway to the Lakes), offers a wide variety of pubs and restaurants with the Brewery Arts Centre offering live entertainment and cinema, as well as excellent dining experiences.
