Twin Pines Lodging features a 3 bedroom, clean, cozy cottage that make you feel like you are at home! Our cottage is near the Seney National Wildlife Refuge in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and within walking distance the famous Fox River known for it's trout fishing. Seney is a small town with about 100 people. The cottage is within walking distance of the restaurant, post office, bank, and area businesses. The Seney Historical Museum in the old railroad depot has very interesting logging exhibits and a nice Hemingway collection. The Township Park is close by with a playground, tennis courts and basketbal hoops.
The cottage is fully furnished with bedding and towels. The kitchen is complete with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, pots & pans, dishes, and cooking utensils. There is free Wi-Fi And the cottage has a VCR and DVD player. There is no TV connection, but you are welcome to bring your own DVD's or VHS tapes. We have Roku
with Amazon. Bring your own code to use netflix or other options with Roku There is a small library of tapes in the cottage.
This three bedroom cottage is fully furnished and the living room has a gas fireplace. It also has a washer and dryer. The dining area right off the kitchen has a table and chairs for enjoying your meal. The yard has a picnic table and a fire pit for your campfire. The garage is available for working on your boat or snowmobile. There is also a gas grill if you want to BBQ or grill.
The cottage has two bedrooms with queen-sized beds and the other bedroom has a double futon with a twin bunk on top and a set of bunk beds. There is a double futon in the living room for extra guests. There is 1 Bathroom with a shower. Towels are furnished.

Relax in comfort while you enjoy all that the Seney area has to offer. Twin Pines Lodging is located only 5 miles north of the Seney National Wildlife Refuge where visitors often see Trumpeter Swans in the Show Pools, Eagles soaring overhead, and geese parading around the Visitor Center. This is an ideal location for birders and photographers who want to spot some of the unusual birds and wildlife that make the Refuge their home. You also might see beaver, river otter, fox, or an occasional moose. Even if you are not a bird watcher, the Seney Refuge is a great stop for visitors. The Visitor Interpretive Center has exhibits, nature programs, and special events. The Seney Wildlife Refuge may be toured by car, bicycle, canoe, or on foot. The 7 mile Marshland Drive takes about an hour and includes three observation platforms with spotting scopes.
The Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is only a short drive and offers hiking trails and outstanding scenery, or you might enjoy visiting Seul Choix Lighthouse and Museum on Lake Michigan.
Twin Pines Lodging is within walking distance of the famed Fox River, the source of Ernest Hemingway's Nick Adams Fishing story and one of Michigan's Blue Ribbon Trout Streams, or try your luck in the other rivers and nearby lakes.
Easy access from the cottage door to the wonderful ATV trails in the area near Seney.
Winter brings lots of snow to the Seney area and Twin Pines Lodging is located 1/4 mile from the main snowmobile trail with direct trail access so you can ride from the door. These trails connect throughout the Upper Peninsula so you can ride all over on the groomed trails. Head up to Grand Marais for lunch or over to the Munising area and ride in the Hiawatha National Forest.
