"Borgo Acque Romane" is a large house built at the beginning of the 19th century over the ruins of a Roman cistern. The ancient walls can still be visited and found inside the main building and in the garden. The manor house, already inhabited at the beginning of the nineteenth century, had been abandoned in the middle of the last century to be used as a warehouse. Completely restored 20 years ago with precious materials, it slowly unveiled what for many years had remained hidden ... parts of an aqueduct from the Roman era and mighty walls used as "foundations" when building the house, about two hundred years does. A long and delicate work has allowed us to recover, maintain and show all the walls and parts of the pavement of two thousand years ago. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms and a room / study, three bathrooms (with shower or bath), a large living room with fireplace and mezzanine and a kitchen. On the ground floor there are rooms with ancient Roman walls and a bathtub where you can dive and admire the ancient Roman aqueduct. A unique place, where you can find 2000 years of history. You can dine in a Roman tower in one of the smallest dining rooms in the world or eat with friends in a 60 square meter salon. Outside there is a large garden with a terrace of over 100 square meters to admire the valley that reaches the sea. On rainy days it is possible to take courses in restoration and renovation of furniture or in 5 minutes by car to reach a large wellness center with swimming pool, gym and massage center where you can relax alone or in pairs. In winter you can relax by the fireplace and in summer enjoy the large garden with fruit trees. Free Wi-Fi, space for pets and parking in the garden. The owners will always be available to advise you on places to visit in the area or to accompany you in the beautiful villages of our region. In half an hour you can reach the sea, in half an hour you will find the mountains and lakes of the Sibillini Mountains Natural Park. You can visit producers of cured meats and cheeses, bee farmers and honey producers or one of the many wineries that will let you taste their wines. You have canoes or cayaks to navigate along one of the lakes less than 20 kilometers from us.
