LE "GÎTE DES SILVES" est situé en bordure d'un hameau très calme avec seulement quelques maisons. Il peut accueillir jusqu'à 12 personnes et dispose de 4 chambres, une mezzanine avec 5 lits, deux salles de bains, une grande cuisine très bien équipée, une salle à manger, un salon avec cheminée, une véranda et deux terrasses extérieures avec vue panoramique. La maison est entourée de champs et bénéficie de belles vues vers les montagnes et les pistes de ski des trois stations de ski de la vallée (Vallée de la Blanche), qui ne sont qu'à 10 minutes en voiture. Le lac de Serre-Ponçon, l'un des plus grands lacs d'Europe, possède de belles plages et se trouve à 15 minutes en voiture de la maison. Il propose des activités nautiques comme le kayak, la voile, la planche à voile, le ski nautique, etc. La petite ville médiévale de Seyne-les-Alpes est à 3 km de la maison. Il offre de nombreux magasins et restaurants. Les Alpes du Sud sont réputées pour l'ensoleillement dont elles bénéficient : 300 jours de soleil par an ! La région est encore très sauvage et authentique : pas de tourisme de masse, beaucoup de sentiers de randonnées et de nombreuses possibilités de sports : randonnées, ski, canyoning, rafting, vol à voile, VTT,...

L'aéroport de Marseille-Provence et la gare d'Aix-en-Provence (TGV) sont à 2 heures de route. Il y a des bus de l'aéroport/gare aux stations de ski de la vallée. La maison dispose d'un parking privé juste en face.

THE "GÎTE DES SILVES" is located on the border of a very quiet hamlet with only a few houses. It sleeps up to 12 people and has 4 bedrooms, one mezzanine with 5 beds, two bathrooms, a large and very well equiped kitchen, a dining room, a living room with fireplace, a veranda and two outside terraces with panoramic views. The house is surrounded by fields and enjoys lovely views towards the mountains and the skislopes of the three ski resorts of the valley (Vallée de la Blanche), which are only a 10 minutes drive away. The lake of Serre-Ponçon, one of the largest lakes in Europe, has lovely beaches and is a 15 minutes drive away from the house. It offers watarsports activities like kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing etc.The small medieval town of Seyne-les-Alpes is at a distance of 3 km from the house. It offers lots of shops and restaurants. The Southern Alps are renowned for the sunny climate they enjoy: 300 days of sunshine a year! The area is still very wild and authentic: no mass tourism, lots of hiking trails and many possibilities for sports: hiking, skiing, canyoning, rafting, gliding, mountainbiking,...

Both the airport of Marseille-Provence and the train station of Aix-en-Provence (TGV) are a 2 hours drive away. There are buses from the airport/train station to ski resorts of the valley. The house has a private parking lot just in front.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Charles and Annick (the owner) a message.

    If Charles and Annick (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
