In The Sticks exclusive venue is perfect for rural family reunions Hen or Stag weekends corporate groups, get together celebrations . Minimum of two night stays available with late check out on request (please discuss when booking )

With six spacious cabins sleeping from 4 --30, across 12 bedrooms, Wi-Fi cabins are set around an enclosed area, where there is a barbecue and charcoal, to hire if requested. You can order a hog roast locally can also be , if you fancy eating out.great pubs locally with hearty food Why not include the fire pit in your package and sit out and enjoy the starlit sky with no light pollution.

Long mountain centre In The Sticks is not the best location for high heels or nightlife, but great for wellington boots and torches. If you book all six cabins there's plenty of room for additional members of your group to camp. This unique venue can be booked for exclusive use and used as a blank canvas for you to organize your own special event , or talk to our event planner who will be happy to help you arrange your special occasion .

The well equipped practical and spacious cabins make In the Sticks a suitable venue for all kinds of social occasions, including Hen or Stag groups family get together celebrations, meeting up with old friends, corporate groups or even festival style wedding weekender reception. Bell tents Tipi, marquees or stretch tents can be hired for exclusive hire users .

Why not gather together for a cocktail master class, vintage tea party ,pamper session woodland days or even a nocturnal walk and campfire If your group prefers to stay in, use In the Sticks as your own private venue. Dinner can be self catered, or catering available via a local catering company. Dine at -pub, The Horseshoe Inn Arddleen approx. 9 miles away where Belinda the chef offers delicious hearty home cooked meals take aways and great breakfasts. What better way to start or end an active day in the country!

The middle cabin (Honeysuckle) is usually the where guests gather. Having 2 additional cabins on either side offers personal space for everyone, which can be useful for groups where not everyone in the party may know each other, especially for different age groups.

In the sticks Log Cabins are situated next to a working stables, so if any of your group fancy a pony trek or some horsing around during your stay let us know. Quad Trekking , Paint balling ,archery dirt buggies kayaking or even shooting are all within a short drive away and can be arranged through us . There is ample parking.

The Welsh Market Town of Welshpool is 6 miles away (nearest town for train station). Shrewsbury is approximately 15 miles away.

Dogs are allowed, by arrangement subject to conditions.

In The Sticks out door venue is a central location on the borders of Shropshire and Powys.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Jackie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
