The Corner Cottage promises the opportunity to relax in a beautiful location in traditional French countryside. The house is modern with everything you need for the perfect holiday, whilst retaining a traditional charm. Days can be spent exploring the church, vineyards and Chateaux on the hillside or simply enjoying the tranquillity in the sunshine on the sun terrace overlooking the pool.

The cottage has been renovated to the highest standards whilst retaining much of its character, such as exposed beams, large fire place and traditional kitchen with wood burning stove.

The cottage is on 4 levels. The front door leads to a hall, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom on the middle level. Up a few stairs are a further two bedrooms each with en suite bath/shower rooms. Down from the hall is a sitting/dining room with a large open fire place and doors leading on to the outside mezzanine deck which overlooks the pool and has stunning views across the local vineyards (where you can buy the local wine!).

On the lowest level there is a further bedroom with en-suite shower and a laundry room with washing machine.There is air conditioning which also heats in winter for the living area and the two upstairs bedrooms.

Doors from the lowest level open to a terrace, swimming pool and open grass area to the front. The front door leads out to an enclosed courtyard which is very safe for children. The kitchen window opens onto this courtyard.

The television has all British freeview channels. A variety of bicycles are available for use by guests on request.

We have a full size table tennis table that can be set up on the lower terrace which is great fun before a dip in the pool!

    Thank you for your review. The cupboard doors are all sorted! We update the kitchen when we can but try and retain its rural French feel. We have recently put in a new dishwasher. The splash pool is approx. 1.5m deep and great for small children and for cooling off!!

    Thank you for your review. It is a splash pool which is approximately 3m x 3m x 1.5m. It's great for small kids and for cooling off but if you're after exercise then you'll need to head to one of the local swimming lakes or the water park!

    How do damage deposits work?

    If James (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
