From the owner

40 km east of Helsinki, on the beach of the Gulf of Finland (50 meters), shallow, hard sandy bottom is ideal for children, own canoe and rowboat. Wooden chalet (built 2009), kitchen, living room, two 2-person bedrooms + loft room for 1 person (accomodates a total of 5 people), electric sauna, shower and toilet. The building is located high on a wooded cliff, on a tiled courtyard. There is also a beach sauna, take the stairs down. Washing machine and dryer in the garage. The steps to the loft are steep, recommended for children or storage of goods. Garage possible, please ask beforehand. Separate lakeshore sauna (1930), renovated in 2002 (distance 50 m, beach 10 m), wood-burning stove, shower bath, a sauna room, electric lights and heating, terrace. Beach sauna is located in the vicinity of the owner's villa, but not in line of sight. Possibility of fishing and ice fishing. Fishing licenses are sold in R-kiosks across Finland. The possibility of renting a mountain bike for 10 € per week, please advise when booking.

    Sehr dreckig und unaufgeräumt. Klimaanlage kühlt nicht. Lampen vielfach ohne Leuchtmittel oder kaputt. Statt Doppelbett nur Einzelbetten in schlechter Qualität und statt mit Bettlaken… More

    Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft, Fahrtzeit nach Helsinki etwa eine Stunde. Das Interieur ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Sauna ist herrlich.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
