From the owner

Ganh Do is a small fishing village in the province of Phu Yen with panoramic views of the South China Sea. Its about 1000 people in the village and the majority have fishing as their main occupation. In the village, you will guaranteed experience the genuine and simple Vietnam where you buy the fresh food on the market in the morning. Try the few simple but very tasty small restaurants and cafes in the village. Although it is a small village one can find most things as water, beer and soft drinks.

Why not rent our jet ski for a few hours and get around on the ocean and visit a completely private beach or snorkel at those beautiful reefs just a bit from here.

PLEASE NOTE that you will pay for the electricity that you consume 3376,00 vnd per kilowatt hour, so think of sparing use. The meter is read of on arrival and departure and paid cash on the spot.

Otherwise, it is you who sets the limits of what you want to do, a motorbike ride along the coast and search for the ultimate paradise bay attracts some and others are satisfied with a coffee in one of the villages cafes.

The village has a pagoda, that is a Buddhist temple with a really nice garden where the monks grow much of their food when they are vegans.

You can visit the next village with the natural phenomena that puzzled many experts called Ganh Da Dia it´s octagonal rocks that rise from the sea. The stones are the village's most famous brand. A motorbike ride over the wooden bridge and experience the surroundings it´s unforgettable and stunningly beautiful ride.

There are two major cities nearby, Tuy Hoa (40 km south) and Quy Nhon (60 km north). Both cities have airports, train and bus station and there are regular flights / trains and buses to get there from both Hanoi and Saigon. Both cities also have larger supermarkets where you can find even some Western food. Getting to Ganh Do is quite similar and very easy whether you come from the north or south.

The flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Tuy Hoa takes about 1 hour and is the fastest and most convenient way to get to our house.

Along the road to Quy Nhon there are few resorts that offer spa and massage. And in Quy Nhon there are a few small shopping centers. And outside the city you can find a big golf resort.

Nha Trang is the nearest big tourist city it´s 170 km and you can go by taxi, bus or train. There is a wide range of different kinds of spas, bars, western restaurants and nightclubs. There are numerous beach and water activities you can also dive and play golf.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ngoc (the owner) a message.

    If Ngoc (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
