The neighborhood where you can find our property is a quiet residential area, inhabited mostly by expats.
In this area there are a few small restaurants and ' colmados '-simple supermarkets which sell basic groceries and where you can sit and have a drink.
Most of the nightlife, bars and restaurants are located in the Centre of Sosua-about 2-3 miles, or 5-minute drive away.
The same distance there are supermarkets, banks and, last but not least several beautiful beaches, like the main beach between Sosua and Sosua Los Charamicos neighborhood El Batey with many souvenir shops, bars and restaurants, where you can rent a beach chair or simply eating a delicious local meal or fresh fish.
Have a rental car or a scooter would be nice and convenient, but it is not absolutely essential.
The main road to the city centre and the beaches are reachable on foot (about 15 minutes to 30 minutes ...), but of course you can also call a taxi or just jump on a Motoconcho is a moto-taxi.
