Windrush Lakeside Lodge is set within the fabulous Cotswold Water Park.

Whatever the weather or time of year, you will find our lodge fully equipped for your comfort and enjoyment. It is centrally heated and there are games to play, a smart TV, DVDs to watch, books to read and a gas BBQ on the decking with stunning views over the lake. As the property is at the end it benefits from a large grassed area to the side and rear of the property.

The master bedroom has a super kingsize a new en-suite shower room fitted in 2021 with heated floor. It also has a generous walk in wardrobe and fabulous views overlooking the lake. The second bedroom is a double room with a wardrobe, the third bedroom is a bunk bed consisting of a single bed at the top with double on the bottom and wardrobe. They share a good size family bathroom newly fitted in 2021 with heated floor. 2 hairdryer’s are at the property.

There is a downstairs WC, cloakroom/store. The Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need, there is also a Nespresso coffee machine for your use. The Lodge has a spacious lounge with dining area and comfortable seating for six people, however the property can accommodate seven.

The front porch has a seating bench and large storage box for you to store your own equipment in.

The decking area to the rear has a table, chairs and a gas bbq with wonderful lakeside views.

There is ample parking for two cars directly outside the property.

A cot, high chair and stair gate are available for use if required.

Around the lake you will find a child's soft play area, an outdoor play area, tennis courts, games room, table tennis and pool tables, football and volleyball nets and a boules pit not forgetting the relaxing walks around the Lake itself - this is all for you to enjoy at your leisure.

The property benefits from The Watermark club amenities that include fishing and the use of the Lakeside Gym situated above The Brasserie. The Lakeside Brasserie overlooks Spring Lake its the perfect venue for all the family, it provides everything from snacks to lunches and evening meals - during the summer there are often BBQs and entertainment on the outdoor terrace.

The surrounding area offers various water sports - such as canoeing, sailing, windsurfing waterskiing and wake-boarding. There is a man made beach area that provides supervised swimming. A new addition to that was the very popular inflatable aqua zone - there is also miles of bike rides, nearby golf courses, a gym and Spa all set within the stunning Waterpark region of The Cotswolds.

Just 4 miles away is Cirencester that has lots to offer not forgetting the picturesque towns and villages such as Burford, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-water.

For some retail therapy there is the Swindon Outlet shopping village or further away is the historical city of Bath, the Regency town of Cheltenham or the market town of Tetbury which are within easy reach. Other attractions include The Cotswold Wildlife Park, Westonbirt Arboretum, Highgrove that opens to garden tours (must be pre-booked) Birdland and the Model Village. The famous Wildfowl and Wetlands site at Slimbridge and Berkeley Castle are also within easy reach.

16 Windrush is the perfect base for The Royal International Air Tattoo Fairfield, Cheltenham Races, Badminton and Gatcombe Horse Trials to name a few events within the area.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Marie (the owner) a message.

If Marie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
