Fabulous opportunity to rent this impeccably maintained home located in desirable Chatham neighborhood south of Route 28. Forest Street Beach on Nantucket Sound, a little piece of heaven, just 5/10th's of a mile, +/- down the street. This charming, upscale beach house has been beautifully updated and close to beaches, shopping, dining, conservation, tennis, ferry, and bike trails.

Our home offers a spacious, open floor plan filled with lots of natural light. Solid Maple Hardwood floors throughout. Large, sunny family room with brick fireplace and built-in's. The upgraded kitchen features honed granite counter tops, island/ breakfast bar and separate dining area. Natural stone tiled baths, large bedrooms and closets. Main-floor master bedroom has a queen sized bed and private deck access. This room is spacious and can accommodate a portable crib if needed/requested. There is a second bedroom also located on the main floor which has two twin beds.

Fully finished, walk out basement adds another 600 square feet of living space, including a family room/den, bathroom, and an extra room for use as a play room or office. The lower level's day bed and pull-out couch are perfect for your older kids or guests who want a private space of their own. This area also features a counter area equipped with microwave, coffee-maker and mini-fridge. Extra roll-away bed available upon request. Our home is newly furnished and stocked with books, board games, movies,, beach supplies, gas grill, outdoor fire pit and very spacious outdoor shower!

Enjoy morning coffee on the brick terrace, cocktails on the private multi-tiered deck, and strolls past conservation land to Forest Street Beach. The white sands and warm waters of Nantucket Sound make it perfect for young children learning to swim, while older kids and adults enjoy sailing, windsurfing, and snorkeling. The sunsets are amazing and the beach never gets too busy. Catch glimpses of passing sailboats as you enjoy sunset barbecues or clam bakes, and cocktails with family and friends. Ride a bike through our quiet neighborhoods to Pleasant St or Red River Beaches. Explore the Cape Cod rail trail - also located just 5/10th's of a mile, +/- away. Take a drive to view breathtaking bluffs overlooking endless beaches at the Cape Cod National Seashore and drive a little further to explore Provincetown. Take a ferry out of Harwichport (3 mi) to Nantucket. Looking for more stunning scenery? Visit Chatham Lighthouse Beach (2.5 mi) and afterwards visit downtown for world-class dining and shopping on Main Street, a summer band concert, or a Chatham Angler's baseball game.

Centrally located at the “elbow” of Cape Cod, Chatham is a true Cape gem. Said to be as quaint as Nantucket without the boat ride, enjoy main street and its unique shops, restaurants, theaters and inns. Relax at the scenic beaches perfect for sunning, swimming, boogie-boarding, kayaking, windsurfing, or sailing. If the salt water is not your thing, try one of the calm spring feed glacial kettle ponds which is a great alternative for young kids. Enjoy public golf courses. There are public tennis courts within walking distance. Check out the Cape Cod bike trail perfect for both avid cyclists and families. For some unique adventure hop on a water taxi at The Chatham Fish Pier to your private space on secluded South Beach or explore Monomoy Island. Try deep-sea fishing, whale or seal watching, kite boarding, or catch the island ferries to the Vineyard or Nantucket. Kids love the go-carts, bumper boats, skateboard park and miniature golf. In the evenings, enjoy the traditional downtown Friday Night Band Concerts in the park or take in a CCBL, Cape Cod Baseball League, Chatham Anglers game at Veterans Field, a play at the outstanding Monomoy summer theater, Like most people, you may just find yourself coming back, year after year.
