Seaview Quarters is an idyllic 2nd floor suite designed in 2015 that was inspired by the natural beauty of the Maine Coast and is part of an architecturally designed three story home. It offers a great room enclosed by three walls of windows that includes a kitchen, dining and seating area with views over blueberries and highland cranberries through spruce and beech trees to a scenic stretch of rocky shore and beyond to outlying islands. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and granite countertops. The dining area seats four. For those chilly nights, a gas glass front stove provides warmth and atmosphere.

The beautifully appointed bath is highlighted by sea glass tile, marble counter tops, generous storage and rainfall shower head. The light filled bedroom boasts an ocean view and a luxurious Queen bed. A spiral staircase leads to the private entrance of this 2nd floor suite. The suite enjoys a stone patio and garden with a picnic table, grill, outdoor seating and fire pit overlooking the sea and island views. There is not direct walking access to the ocean from the property.

We are available before and during your stay to offer recommendations for activities, restaurants, destinations not to miss, etc. This is an apartment attached to our house, yet our guests describe a sense of privacy. There is some soundproofing for the apartment, and we are respectful of sound for our guests. It is good to note that a deck, kitchen and dining area are above the apartment, and some sounds from above can be heard in the apartment.We have 2 resident pups who are friendly and do bark from time to time.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Dan (the owner) a message.

If Dan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
