The privacy, excellent facilities, amenities and security at Vuemont help to make this a wonderful holiday location. Our open-plan 1,560 square feet (145 square meter) 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa enjoys an elevated position above the west coast of Barbados on the Vuemont lifestyle estate. Guests of 'Island Breeze' enjoy breath-taking views of the Caribbean Sea, lush gardens and rolling landscapes of the surrounding St Peter district. Our large, enclosed private patio is brushed by cooling breezes and is accessed from the living area and master bedroom.

'Island Breeze' is furnished to the highest quality with our personal touches providing a Caribbean island feel throughout. The fully equipped, spacious kitchen links through to the dining and living areas, patio and garden.

Guests have full access to Vuemont facilities, including three pools, a gym and tennis courts. A free bus shuttle is available 4 days a week between the Estate and west coast locations. There is a US$10 charge for night use of tennis courts.

Island Breeze is a short stroll to the estate's infinity pool, Jacuzzi and club-house. Two other pools are located on the estate. We enjoy uninterrupted views across one of Barbados' famous gullys (dry valley) to All Saints Church in one direction, and the Caribbean sea in another.

We are 25 minutes from the capital Bridgetown, still closer to west coast beaches, the rugged east coast, and many island attractions. With so many roads, we can easily access all parts of Barbados. There is a well supplied supermarket less than 1km from the villa.

We are available to assist from the time of your initial inquiry to the end of your stay at 'Island Breeze'. Our Property Manager will meet you on arrival , or leave the keys at the guard gate, and meet you later. The manager will be available to assist and advise throughout your stay. There will be a starter pack of groceries for your arrival including a quantity of tea, coffee, sugar and spices. For stays longer than 7 days we provide mid-stay housekeeping (full villa clean). We will provide you with notes on the villa and Vuemont Estate and a selection of things to do in the island once your stay is confirmed.

House rules

Stayover is for number of guests agreed at time of rental. Vuemont is a quiet residential community. Follow the advice on our Guest Information notes (sent when booked) and notices at swimming pools and other common facilities. No smoking, events or BBQs. Do not feed birds or monkeys.
The natural breeze, ceiling and stand-up fans are usually sufficient. If air conditioning is used please close all doors and windows, and use the unit only when in the bedroom. Switch a/c off all other times.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Claire (the owner) a message.

If Claire (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
