Emcee is a spacious 3 bedroom,2 bathroom villa situated in Heywoods Park. We are suitable for couples, wishing a quiet escape, or families, requiring a safe and quiet relaxing break to recharge and share family time .Emcee has an open kitchen/dinning area and living space with comfortable seating for relaxation. The verandah is a beautiful outside, sheltered place to sit with morning coffee, or evening rum. The villa also has a beautiful balcony outside the master bedroom where the sun setting, is on some evenings, quite spectacular. Emcee Villa has everything in it for your holiday. Our manageress, Helen, can be reached via phone, or WhatsApp to answer any questions you may have. The neighbourhood is quiet, friendly, safe and unobtrusive. Here you will delight in living as part of a real community, experiencing Barbados as the Bajans do.

We are so lucky in that the local beaches and Speightstown are a casual 6-10 minute walk away.

Speightstown is a local hub for public transport extending your capacity to visit more of the beaches of the West coast and the North,

South, or East of the island without need of a hire car. The villa is cleaned once per 10 night stay. If the guest has booked to stay 14 nights, then the villa is cleaned every 7 night stay. We can arrange taxi transfer- this is very handy for the guests new to the island, when they arrive on late flights, or in the dark. The guest pays the taxi driver when there. Our manageress, or a representative, will meet you at Emcee and will contact you prior to departure. This is arranged between guests and Helen. Emcee also has a key lock box- the code to which, will be given to you prior to your arrival by Helen.

Myself and Kate have owned Emcee since 2008 and this is our "Home from Home".

The kitchen is well stocked enabling the occupant to be capable of eating as they would at home, if you so wish. We offer free WiFi and local telephone calls (all over the island) are free.

The property is situated in a Cul de Sac ensuring negligible traffic noise and safety for children.

Emcee has its manual in the villa.. All contact numbers guests may require are in it. Contact numbers and address, are also on our Rough Guide, which we send to guests after balance payment is made to the booking site. Helen Phillips is our point of contact on the island. She and her team, manage our property. She is on hand via WhatsApp, e mail and/or phone call when you are at Emcee. Guests may also contact us, the owners, during their stay with any questions.

Why can't I call Andrew (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to view all your booking details, pay the balance of your holiday or cancel it if you need to.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

We’ll automatically charge the balance payment to the same payment method 10 days before it’s due. Go to Manage my holiday booking to see when the payment will be taken.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Andrew (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Andrew (the owner) a message.

If Andrew (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
