Tigh Lals is a 300 year old thatched cottage, recently restored to provide all amenities needed for modern living, located minutes' walk from two beaches, restaurants, cafés, shops and pubs playing traditional Irish music nightly in Spiddal village, Galway, Ireland.

This thatched cottage provides an ideal base for families or groups of friends looking to explore all the West of Ireland has to offer, including vibrant Galway City, the beautiful Connemara region and the Aran Islands. The unique geological formations and flora of the Burren and the world famous Cliffs of Moher are easily accessible by car or by tours which leave Galway City hourly. We would be delighted to help with planning of your day trips around Connemara and beyond.

There is a safe garden area in front of the cottage, while secure off-road parking is available at the rear. The cottage itself has 3 bedrooms (one double bedroom ensuite downstairs, one double with toilet/WHB upstairs and one twin room upstairs) housing 6 adults comfortably. Cots for children are available on request. The kitchen is fully stocked with all mod cons, and oil central heating available if necessary. Free Wi-Fi is available in the local library (15 seconds walk away!) during working hours.
