Since 2014 Tony & Suzy welcome you to The Granary, set within the grounds of Le Moulin De L'Arche, right on the beautiful river Argenton. Just 500mt to the nearest village of St Clementin (Voulmentin). The Granary is a beautifully appointed, very light first-floor apartment in a 15C renovated barn. The Granary can sleep 4 plus a travel cot it is furnished in a modern style and is approached by a foyer and staircase.

The lower hall has a desk and chair, hat and shoe stand and a storage cupboard. The stairs lead up to a landing from which all rooms can be accessed. The Granary has been freshly decorated and new furnishings have been added for your comfort.

The double bedroom in shades of green and silver has a super king size bed (can be 2 singles) has plenty of storage space with a double built in wardrobe, and dressing table with hairdryer, mirror, and a pine chest of drawers, Access to a beautiful tiled covered terrace with a bistro table and 4 chairs overlooking the courtyard with views to the river and gardens.

The generous living room has a comfortable seating area, with an armchair and a 3 seater bed settee which can sleep 2. A 32 inch SMART Satellite TV DVD and Free WiFi Internet access. The dining table seats 6 and there is a fully-fitted kitchen area, with an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker and radio. It also gives access on to the terrace, from which are delightful river views. The living rooms dual aspect windows also look towards the river, fields, trees and the courtyard.

The luxury shower room contains a fitted shower cabinet, wash-hand basin, large lighted mirror, heated towel rail and toilet. We have good water pressure for showers, and a large tank for hot water.

Downstairs are an additional fridge-freezer, washing-machine and tumble-dryer for your exclusive use.

Use of willow garden by the rivers edge, also a meadow with picnic benches and swing/slide set great for picnics and games. Poplar woods along the river with walks great for dogs & kids too.

There is a games room for guests with a table tennis table and dart board, and some sit and ride toys for the children.

Use of rowing boat, fishing on our stretch of the river Argenton and islands, tackle and advice available from Tony.

St Clementin 500m walk with restaurant, bar and boulongerie. 7km to supermarkets shops and more restaurants in Argenton Les Vallees and 17km to Bressuire Town with its own chateau shops restaurants and market.

Lots of local markets to visit Thouars, Samaur, Cholet, Niort, Nantes etc as well as venues for family days out like Puy Du Fou Futuroscope Bioparc and many chateau. Also local are stables, tennis, indoor & outdoor swimming pool bowling karting cinema, walks and cycle routes from the front door. Abounds in peace and quiet in beautiful country side location

We have provided in your gite an information folder and a drawer full of leaflets and ideas for days out, as well as some local information magazines. How do damage deposits work?

If Mrs Susan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
