Description

Primrose Cottage has recently under gone a renovation and is contemporary yet retaining much of its traditional charm.

Located only a 3 minute walk from the Blue Flag beach of Porthmeor and 5 minutes from the extensive range of shops and restaurants in St Ives.

The cottage also benefits from parking for 2 vehicles, an outside decking area as well as wifi, bed linen and both bathroom and beach use towels.

The cottage sleeps 6 with 2 doubles and 1 bunk room

Deposit payment: A non refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost is required to secure a booking. The final balance is then due 8 weeks before the letting date. There is also a £100 returnable deposit against excess cleaning, damages and keys.

The cottage has a well equipped kitchen with an induction hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

The lounge/ dining area has seating for 6 guests.

The LG Smart TV is signed into Netflix giving you access to films, tv shows etc. There is also a Nintendo Wii with games and 4 controllers.

Superfast unlimited broadband/wifi throughout the house.

There are 3 bedrooms, two doubles, and one bunk as well as a family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

The cottage also benefits from gas central heating and double glazing for keeping you warm and cozy in the winter.

There is off road parking for 2 cars in front of the property. The property has a decked area to the side for enjoying an evening drink or morning coffee.

There is an outside table and storage shed for keeping wetsuits and boards.

A removable rotary washing line is also on the decked area.

House rules

We can allow small to medium sized dogs but request dogs do not go upstairs in the property or on the sofa and all dog mess is removed and disposed of properly in bags in the bin provided. Dog hair should be hoovered up prior to departure and dogs should never be left unattended in the property while owners go out.
The charge per day for dogs is £15 and we ask for a £250 damage deposit to be paid prior to arrival to cover and damages. This will be returned within 7 days of departure.

“Excellent stay”

Loved the property, comfortable with a lovely view over to St. Nicholas's chapel. Parking space will fit any vehicle. Drying shed for wetsuits and tumble dryer makes it ideal if you're in the water a lot.

We had a lovely stay during February half term. The cottage is well situated; a short walk to both town and beach. The off street parking is a huge bonus as parking in st.Ives can be tricky. The cottage itself is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We are hoping to visit again!

“Fabulous- primrose cottage”

Primrose cottage is the most fabulous place to stay. Perfect location with all roads leading to a little place of St Ives magic. Be it the beach or little lanes. The parking space is wonderful and once in the cottage you have everything you need from a fully equipped kitchen to the cosy lounge. Bedrooms were great with massive amount of storage in the rooms. Bathroom was perfect with a fabulous shower which was well needed after days on the beach. I would recommend primrose cottage to anyone visiting St Ives. .... thank you for helping us have such a wonderful time !

Shop across the road to buy papers and anything you need, very friendly. Great location to all the restaurants and cafes at a short distance to walk

Very homely. Everything you would need as if at home. Milk, tea, coffe & Cream tea on arrival- very nice!! Parking an absolute bonus in StIves as very rare! Stunning views. 5-10 minute walk to anywhere- beach, shops. Road could be a little noisy in the mornings. Porthmeor beach bar right in the sea front - great cream teas, delicious tapas & elderflower prosecco. Try The Loft for an evening meal- amazing food . Balcony bar by the harbour was nice food if you're after reasonable chips/ burger/ fish. Lovely views there.

Lovely homely cottage with everything you need and more for a stay in St Ives. Parking space is a real luxury and location makes it perfect for a walk into town or to the beach (bare in mind the steep walk back though!). We have stayed at other properties within St Ives and have found this to be the best one yet!

The cottage is beautiful - we felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. The views of Porthminster beach are impressive. My 18month old granddaughter also felt right at home. Have booked again for next year.

I have just enjoyed a fabulous break at Primrose Cottage with my husband for our sons 2nd birthday. The cottage was perfect. A lot of thought has clearly gone into providing everything needed for families of all ages and beautiful decor and furniture creating warmth, comfort and relaxation. The location meant I woke up in bed to sea views and could tumble next door to the shop for all amenities, with a five minute stroll to the beach. Having stayed in numerous cottages in St Ives this was undeniably the most beautiful and provided everything we needed and more and we will definitely return. The icing on the cake, was the car parking space, an absolute blessing in St Ives. Thank you for making my sons birthday perfect at his favourite "seaside house".
