This stone-built detached cottage is situated a couple of miles from the village of Staindrop and sleeps four people.Alwent Mill is a detached stone-built cottage situated two miles from the Teesdale village of Staindrop and within reach of Barnard Castle. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms consisting of one zip/link king-size double and a twin, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and shared use of the owners' beautiful landscape gardens. Alwent Mill is ideal for a couple or small family with plenty of interesting places to visit and explore close by.

Amenities: Oil central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lockable bike storage. Shared use of owners landscaped gardens with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: A burn runs along both sides of the property, children to be supervised.

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrians Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: The pretty Teesdale village of Staindrop is situated only a few minutes' drive from Raby Castle, with the village itself offering many interesting shops, pubs and cafes set round its long village green. The popular market town of Barnard Castle is only 5 miles away, with its castle, the Bowes Museum and a range of shops and tea rooms.
