From the owner

The property consists of a three and a half acre fishing lake located in thirty seven acres of woodland. We only ever let to one group at a time so privacy is assured and guests are able to fully enjoy the peace and seclusion of this very special place

The cabin sleeps 2 , additional members of your group are welcome to camp. Bell tents or fishing bivis can be hired and pre-pitched or you are welcome to bring your own. A traditional bell tent with double air bed and single bed including all bedding is E40 per stay. A modern three layer tent sleeping two comfortably is E30 per stay .

The lake in contrast to the area is well populated and the woodland is home to a variety of wildlife. On your first night here you will feel like you have stepped back in time. Light, noise and traffic pollution become a thing of the past, the only sounds being water flowing into the lake and that of the animals and birds inhabiting the forest.

This venue will not suit everyone, it is remote and completely off grid. Think glamping meets drive and survive !However if you're after some quality family time away from modern distractions, real privacy and have a passion for wildlife and wild fishing this could be the venue for you !

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sandra (the owner) a message.

If Sandra (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
