From the owner

Our cosy, comfortable and well equipped semi-detached cottage is approached via winding country lanes and overlooks fields and well tended allotments.

The cottage sleeps 4 in the two bedrooms and is suitable for children 10 years and over. Please note you walk through the back bedroom to access the main front bedroom. We welcome one small well behaved adult dog by prior arrangement.

The accommodation offers two bedrooms on the first floor, accessed via traditional steep cottage-style stairs. The front bedroom has a king-size wooden sleigh bed and freeview TV and is accessed via the back bedroom. The stairs lead directly into the second bedroom which has a zip-and-link bed which can either be made up as a king or small twin with 2ft 6 beds.

The bathroom is on the ground floor with shower over bath and WC.

The lounge offers a wood burning stove for cosy nights in, TV with freeview, Blu-ray/DVD player, stereo and docking station. There is a selection of books, DVD's and games for you to enjoy.

The kitchen/diner has a TV, electric oven and hob, microwave, slow cooker and dishwasher. The kitchen is well equipped with a good selection of crockery, glasses, dishes, pans and cooking utensils.

In the utility room you will find a full size fridge/freezer and washing machine.

Bed linen, towels, electricity, central heating and WI FI are all included. An iron, ironing board and hair dryer are provided. The first basket of logs is provided in season. The kitchen/diner has tiled flooring so you may like to bring your slippers.

The fully enclosed garden with patio area has views over the open countryside and is ideal for alfresco dining or watching the sunset. Garden furniture with cushions and charcoal BBQ are provided. There is lockable storage for bikes and off-road parking is available for two cars.

One small well behaved adult dog welcome for an additional £18 per stay. Breed & age will be required prior to booking. We ask that pets are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs or left alone in the cottage.

Please note the neighbours do have access to the path around the property.

If you wish to arrange an online grocery shop most of the major supermarkets deliver to the village.

Why can't I call Amanda (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Amanda (the owner) a message.

If Amanda (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
