Come fall in love with our charming Storybook Stone Cottage. Crazy in love. Tucked beneath huge pines and built right on a mountain stream so close, you'll swear it's running through the living room. Just off the main deck, take the bridge over the stream to the hot tub and the “Bird House”, a tiny stone house with a second-story sleeping loft. (Guests old and young have been known to fight for the bed. Only drawback is that there isn't a bathroom).

The main cottage is a perfect retreat for 2, but can easily accommodate 4. Two small bedrooms on the main level with the small bathroom in between. The loft with a full bed has curtains that close off for more privacy. The kitchen is a gourmet cook's delight with a Wolf range and a Sub Zero fridge. There is a small leaf table in the kitchen perfect for two and can be opened and pulled away from the wall to fit 4. Warm your toes on the radiant heated stone floors throughout, build a fire in the stone fireplace and soak in the stream-side hot tub. At the end of your day, sink into the comfy beds and luxurious linens that guests rave about. Enjoy sleeping on the soundtrack of the babbling mountain stream that you can hear from every part of the cottage.

You'll love our private park, "The Hollow", with an outdoor fireplace and Zip Line swing. With our full concierge services we can arrange for a day of fly fishing with our favorite guides, recommend a variety of local day trips and/or hikes, or arrange a massage in your home. You'll love the personal touch and gracious hospitality of your mountain hosts. We would love to share this magical place with you.

Thank you Alyson - the stream and setting is magical at the Stone Cottage. We have a new one that is just as lovely but without any neighbors. But there is something to be said about being right on the water at the Storybook Stone Cottage. Can't wait to get you back into your cottage or have you test out the new one we call the Wee Cottage!

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
