The house is situated 4 km to the north of Vodnjan, which is famous for the clock tower of the St. Blasius church. This clock tower is best known as the highest in Istria and if you take a closer look, you'll notice that it is very similar to the world-famous bell tower of the St. Mark's Basilica in Venice. We recommend a visit to the museum which offers an impressive and very interesting collection of sacral art. While there, don't miss out on the famous “Mummies of Vodnjan”, a uniqueness well worth visiting. Also close to Sveti Kirin is the small fishing village of Fazana, from where you can take a boat to the nearby Brijuni Islands National Park. The lovely, typical Istrian villages nearby are well worth exploring too.
