Villa Tessia is a spacious luxury villa in the peaceful village of Metaxata, built just five years ago, with spectacular views of Mount Ainos and across to the island of Zakynthos. The property is close to beautiful sandy beaches and is just a few minutes drive from capital, Argostoli.

The air conditioned villa is furnished in a contemporary style and offers luxury accommodation comprising two large en suite bedrooms (one double with king size bed, one twin with two oversize single beds), each with its own private balcony offering superb views, a large lounge and a well equipped dining kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and dishwasher. A washing machine is also provided. The lounge is well furnished and has a TV and DVD player with a selection of films available. Free wi-fi is also provided.

Outside, there is a large covered veranda with dining area and seating area with a cane sofa and chairs. Within the large landscaped private garden there is a 8.25m x 4.5m tiled pool with underwater illumination surrounded by natural stone paving with sun loungers. There is also a barbecue area with stone built barbecue and, to the side of the property, ample parking for two cars

Villa Tessia is very conveniently located in the peaceful village of Metaxata, just 5.5 kilometres from the airport , 8 kilometres from the capital Argostoli and 5 kilometres from the port of Pessada from where the ferry to and from Zakynthos docks.

For those who have not been to Kefalonia, it is a fantastic place to visit offering something for everyone. There are beautiful 'blue flag' sandy beaches, just minutes from the villa. The scenery right across the island is stunning. There are many historical sites and beautiful fishing villages to visit - perhaps to enjoy a meal in a seafront taverna, and of course the capital Argostoli, where cosmopolitan shops meet local character.

The villa in Metaxata is conveniently located to access the whole of the island. Whilst the village is small and peaceful, it does have plenty of tavernas close by (including our favourites - the Olive Garden - less than half a mile away and En Kefalinnia, just 500 metres from the villa) together with shops and supermarkets within easy reach.

For those interested in a more active holiday, watersports are available in the resorts of Lassi and Skala which are within easy reach.

Flights to the island are available from many UK airports (including regular budget airline flights with Easyjet, Ryanair and Jet2) and for any guests requiring assistance in finding flights we are more than happy to help. Car hire is recommended to make the most of a holiday in Kefalonia and again, we are more than happy to assist guests in arranging this.

    How do damage deposits work?
