The apartment makes a wonderful homely base for holidays and short breaks to the New Forest and surrounding area. Suitable for families and groups of friends, there are plenty of opportunities to walk locally, bike ride and horse riding in the forest. The apartment is bright and clean with all linen and towels provided and a manager on hand should you require help or information.

The apartment is 100 yards from the shops and ameneties in Sway.

Sway village has a good range of shops including a Grocery shop, a Chemist, a Butcher, a Newsagents/post office and several pubs and restaurants. The apartments are a 5 minute walk from the Station which is on the main line from Waterloo.

We give discounts for regular guests and for early bookings.

We also welcome Business and Contractor lets, and group lets.

The apartment is let from Friday to Friday, Monday to Friday, or Friday to Monday. We do not allow pets or smoking at the property. Children and babies are welcome and we have travel cots, baby baths, and high chairs available on request. On top of the rental charge we do ask for a security deposit of £100 but the security deposit is returnable to you a week after you leave providing the property is left in good clean order with no damage.

We have a minimum let time of three nights. If you wish to only stay for two nights this will be charged as three nights. Our weekend and weekly rates are an economic way to stay at the property.

The ground floor apartment at The Old Exchange has a family room, with an en suite shower/toilet/basin room. There are twin 3ft wide beds in the family room and a set of 3ft wide bunk beds, all suitable for adults. In the hall area there is a separate wash room with a toilet and basin. In the sitting room area there is a fold out double wardrobe bed. The kitchen is in a separate room and is fully equipped, with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, electric oven, gas hob and fridge with small box freezer. All gas and electricity costs are included in the prices quoted. We do ask for a security deposit on top of the quoted cost but the security deposit is returned to you a week after you leave providing you leave the property in good clean order with no damage.

There is parking in the driveway for up to 4 cars. At the side of The Old Exchange there is a covered fenced area for secure storage of bikes. There is an outside rotary line at the front of the building for the ground floor apartment to dry clothes outside if necessary. The gate of the Property can be closed to make a safe area for Children playing if necessary.
It is a short walk to the shops in the village, and a 10 minute walk up to the forest and open heathland. Beaches are about 4 miles drive away, at Milford on sea which is a shingle beach, and moving on to Highcliff and Southbourne Sandy beaches start. Bournemouth beaches are very busy in the summer but closer to the Forest it is quieter on the beaches.
Bikes can be hired at Brockenhurst and Pony riding is bookable at Ford Farm in Brockenhurst.

We are happy to meet guests on arrival, but can provide keys for guests to arrive in their own time with out a meeting. We send guests a comprehensive pack of things to do and places to go along with Local information. We live locally and are on hand to help any thime before or during the stay. We will not bother guests if they do not call, text or e mail us to do so.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sarah (the owner) a message.

If Sarah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
