Welcome to Lancasa Taidong! We are a boutique hotel offering a premium accommodation experience in Taitung, Taiwan, specializing in catering to the needs of international guests from around the world. One of the few boutique accommodations in the area with a dedicated English speaking expatriate owner.

Our building is a brand new (completed June 2016) contemporary build. We have six rooms in total and can accommodate up to 20 persons. Each room is completely different and uniquely themed, with styles including New York loft, Parisian, and Moroccan.

Located just a five-minute walk from Taitung railway station, staying at Lancasa is a wonderful choice as a jumping off point for your adventure further into the ruggedly beautiful east coast of Taiwan. Also, the Taitung airport (with multiple daily connections to Taipei), downtown Taitung, the seaside, and numerous parks are all within a five-minute drive by taxi, car, or scooter (a popular choice in Taiwan).

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Nolan (the owner) a message.

If Nolan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
